Blogs for classroom use - Lucacept- intercepting the Web
Feb 26th, 2008 by Mark Spahr
Thanks to a link sent by Vicki Davis via Twitter , I came across this great post from Jenny Luca in Melbourne, Australia. In it she talks about why she is blogging and some of the potential classroom applications. Here is part of what she says:
I started to toy with the idea that maybe I could be part of this filtering process and offer comment about the things I was learning about. I figured it would be a vehicle through which I could track my professional reading and development and if I were lucky I might get a few readers along the way.
I have a feeling that as I continue the process of writing a blog, I will be referring back to her post a lot.
Thanks for linking me to your blog Mark. Good luck with your blog - it’s a great vehicle for making connections. You should check out a post I wrote about Supercook - it would be perfect for the subject matter of your blog.
Cheers,
Jenny.
